Join us for an immersive 2-day street photography workshop in Lambertville! This hands-on experience will allow students to explore the art of street photography, capturing candid moments and the unique character of the Lambertville historic district. Over the course of the weekend, students will learn essential photography skills, including composition, lighting, and storytelling, while experiencing the vibrant streets of Lambertville through their lenses. The workshop will take place rain or shine, offering real-world practice in a variety of conditions.
Workshop Highlights:
October 26th (Saturday, 9:00-10:30 AM): Focus on capturing candid street scenes, architectural details, and the essence of neighborhood life. Students will explore textures, patterns, and perspectives while learning to document the lively interactions between people and their surroundings.
October 27th (Sunday, 9:00-10:30 AM): Building on Saturday's techniques, students will capture a wider range of street scenes, incorporating all they’ve learned to create compelling visual stories.
This workshop is perfect for budding photographers eager to develop their skills and gain real-world photography experience! Students are welcome to bring any camera they have, whether it's an SLR, a point-and-shoot, or even an iPhone camera. I’ll also bring examples of work from some of the best street photographers over the last 50 years to inspire and inform our discussions.
