About the Instructor: Robin Tomlinson studied Fashion Merchandising and Accessories Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. There she earned two associates degrees. She then went on to work in the fashion industry in NYC for three years. She worked as an assistant sweater designer for a junior knitwear company and a production assistant for a designer.
Robin has loved fashion and illustration since she was young. She was able to use her skills while working in the industry. She created all of the fashion illustrations for high end design line sheets. Later she started her own small business where she illustrated human-animal characters on t-shirts and tote bags. Each character donned very detailed clothing and accessories.
Currently Robin uses her skills on prints she creates with plants with hand-illustrated details.
